LEED Accredited Professionals

Transmetrics is proud to have LEED Accredited Professionals as part of their staff. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) was created by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as a rating system for green building.

LEED refers to the design, construction, and operation of buildings in an environmentally friendly way. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.

INTERNATIONAL REACH YET LOCAL PRESENCE

While Transmetrics, Inc is a locally based and locally owned engineering company; we have a wide network of international alliances and partnerships.

Transmetrics is a long time member of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP). Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, UITP is the official representative of transport operators worldwide. In addition, Transmetrics maintains a representative located in Tours, France who is in contact with rail transport operators throughout Europe.

DIVERSE WORKFORCE

Since it’s founding in 1981, Transmetrics has assembled a multi-lingual, multi-cultural staff of highly experienced professional engineers. Many of these individuals come from other countries and have attended some of the world’s best technical colleges and universities. Most have multiple degrees from colleges and universities in the United States. Transmetrics’ staff reflects the multi-cultural, and richly diverse region in which we work, as well as the make up of our diverse clientele
