Regional Connector Transit Corridor

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is extending their underground light-rail Metro Rail system by approximately 1.9 mile below grade guideway, known as Regional Connector Transit Corridor Project. The Metro Regional Connector Project includes three new underground stations and extends from the Metro Gold Line Little Tokyo/Arts District station to the 7th Street/Metro Center station in downtown Los Angeles.

Transmetrics is providing drainage design for over 50% of the alignment. The project tasks included development of drainage report and hydrology study; development of drainage plans and details.

Transmetrics’ drainage design team is working in close collaboration with track drainage design team and tunnel design team.
