Caltrans District 7-Harbor Freeway

Caltrans, District 7 commissioned a Project Study Report (PSR) for extension of the Harbor Freeway Transit way from its current Twenty-Third St. terminus to Route 101 near downtown Los Angeles.

Transmetrics project responsibilities included development of route alternatives for inclusion in the Conceptual Alternatives Report and the Preliminary Alternatives Report; an evaluation of existing utilities; a Utility Relocation Plan for each of the alternatives; and development of the Project Management Plan. This $1 billion dollar project was completed in partnership with Bechtel Civil, Inc.
