Description:

The Pasadena Gold Line Construction Authority has embarked on an extension of the Gold Line (formerly Blue Line) that currently operates between Long Beach and Downtown Los Angeles. This $841 million light rail extension runs 13.6 miles between Los Angeles and Pasadena. There are six stations in Pasadena, one station in South Pasadena and a grade separation in Pasadena’s Old Town. The project included widening and replacement of existing bridges, including the bridge across Arroyo Seco. Transmetrics served as a first tier sub-consultant to Booz, Allen and Hamilton.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Provided construction engineering and structural inspections of various structures along the corridor, and conducted utility relocations and coordination.
  • Provided project controls, cost monitoring, schedule reviews, contract administration and change order reviews.
